Access/Print 2019-2020 Virtual Exhibit

Access/Print is a free mentorship program at Highpoint Center for Printmaking for 6-10 outstanding teen artists each school year. Each teen receives over 70 hours of studio access and instruction in the printmaking arts to create a body of work. Despite the pandemic, each student completed their final project and Highpoint is hosting their show on the website.

Hot Off the Press, 35th Cooperative Exhibition

Highpoint Center for Printmaking is pleased to present Hot Off the Press, an exhibition of prints by members of its artists’ studio cooperative. This summer’s show features the work of 39 printmakers currently working in Highpoint’s facilities. More than 80 pieces were selected by the co-op’s curatorial committee for exhibition. Printmaking methods represented include lithography, relief, intaglio, screenprinting, monotype, and polymergravure. The prints will be on view and available for purchase July 19 - August 31, 2019.

Printmaking mentorship program

Check out Highpoint Center for Printmaking next time you are in Minneapolis. They are a non-profit doing great work bringing traditional and contemporary methods of fine art printmaking to students, professional artists, collectors and the public. This show featured student work made by a select group of high schoolers who were accepted into the Access/Print teen mentor program. Students participate in a semester’s worth of printmaking classes taught by professional artists that culminate in a group exhibition in the main gallery.
